Quick Way To Add Links To Your Notes In iOS 17 

Apple has improved its Notes app over time so that you may add more than just text to a note. Using an Apple Pencil, you may upload pictures, images, scanned documents, and even doodles. You may now add links to a note thanks to iOS 17 and iPadOS 17.

#1 Update your device

First, confirm that your device has been upgraded to version 17 or above. Select General from the Settings menu, then press Software Updates. You will either be informed that the OS is current or prompted to download and install the most recent update.

After that, open or make a note in the Notes app. Select the text after writing the text to which you wish to add a link. Alternately, touch on any blank space on the message that you want to include a link in. Navigate the popup menu by swiping left and right, then select Add Link.

#3 Enter the URL of the webpage

Simply enter the website’s URL in the Link To form on the Add Link screen if you are aware of it. A other option is to launch Safari or another browser and go to the website you wish to connect to. To choose the URL, tap inside the address area. Tap Copy after selecting an address. Read your note again. To enter the URL, press the Link to area, then hit Paste. Tap Done when you’re done.

#4 Open the linked webpage

You contributed a link to the remark, and it is now highlighted and clickable. When you click the link or connected text, Safari opens to the corresponding webpage.

Look through your notes to select the one you want to connect to before you begin. Keep in mind the note’s name. Start by opening the note where you wish to place the link.

Simply touch on any empty space or choose the text you wish to use as the link. From the popup menu, select Add Link.

#6 Add the name of the note

The note’s name that you want to connect should be typed in first. As you type, the app will show you names that match. Tap the name of the note you wish to link from the list. By default, the name of the linked text is kept. Turn on the Use Note Title as Name switch to modify the name of the connected note. Tap Done when you’re done.

#7 Open the linked note

You are sent to the relevant note when you tap the link.

Press down on the link to interact with the connected object. You may share the link with another person or another app from the menu, as well as open and copy the URL.

Select the full linked text to remove it from the page. Tap Remove Link in the popup menu.

The text itself is kept, but the link is thereafter deleted.
