Only 21 people got jobs in 23 years, not a single woman, question raised in assembly

Madhya Pradesh Govt Jobs: A question by Congress MLA Mevaram Jatav in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly has surprised everyone. The MLA said that since April 2000, only 21 people have been given jobs in the state by the Employment Exchange established in Madhya Pradesh. While 39 lakh unemployed had registered during this period. At the same time, there is not a single woman among those who got the job. The shocking figure of three years was presented in the MP Vidhan Sabha on 1 March.

The Congress MLA said that since April 1, 2020, around Rs 16.74 crore was spent for the operation of employment exchanges in 52 districts of Madhya Pradesh. Where 37,80,679 educated and 1,12,470 illiterate applicants have been registered. But only 21 applicants have been given jobs in government offices and various corporations.

BJP told how many got jobs

Rejecting Congress's allegations, BJP MLA Gaurishankar Bisen insisted that they are on the right track. The BJP informed that over 12 lakh candidates, including engineers and doctorate holders, have applied for around 6,000 Patwari posts in the state. Today, the candidates appeared for the written test.

The government has promised to provide one lakh jobs by 15 August. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the break-up is 7,000 "patwari" posts, 15,700 posts for teachers, 2,600 for sub-engineers, 2,200 for forest guards and 7,500 posts.

MP Rojgar Portal Launched

The employment portal has been developed by the Madhya Pradesh government for the youth of the state. Unemployed youth can register on Madhya Pradesh Employment Portal 2023 according to their qualification. Through this, employment opportunities will be available to the youth of the state in a systematic manner.

According to the unemployment data presented in the monsoon session of MP Vidhansabha last year, there were over 25.8 lakh registered unemployed youth as on April 1, 2022. At the same time, on January 1, 2023, this figure has increased to 38,92,949.
