Medical Colleges in UP: To be held for admission in the country’s top medical college NEET UG 2023 The application process for the exam is going on. In such a situation, 1300 new seats are going to increase in MBBS course. These colleges will start from the session 2023-24.
This information has been given by tweeting on behalf of UP Medical Education. Tell that, 13 new medical colleges will open in the state. There will be 100-100 seats in each college. In this case, a total of 1300 new seats will be available. Principal Secretary Medical Education Alok Kumar said that the operation of 13 new medical colleges will start soon.

According to media reports, in phase three, district hospitals of 13 districts have been upgraded to medical colleges. This includes Bijnor, Kushinagar, Sultanpur, Gonda, Lalitpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Chandauli, Bulandshahr, Sonbhadra, Pilibhit, Auraiya, Kanpur Dehat and Kaushambi.
MBBS seats increased
With the opening of new medical colleges in UP, MBBS seats have also increased. Earlier there were a total of 3828 MBBS seats in UP. After the new medical colleges, there will be a total of 5128 MBBS seats in the state. At present there are 35 medical colleges in the state. Now there will be 48 colleges. UP Principal Secretary Medical Education Alok Kumar told that the process of admission in the new medical college will start from this session itself.
